EBE 65 Doors on A Beach House
EBE 65 doors have been installed as part of a renovation to this traditional beach house. Two sets of these doors were installed on either side of the home extension to provide an attractive steel door to be used as access to both the home and the surrounding areas near the beach.
These doors have been made with stainless steel and are fully thermally broken using a unique two-part thermal break engineering. Having a fully thermally broken frame is extremely important for external metal doors as it stops ‘cold bridging’ across the frame which could potentially damage any internal floor finishes or materials.
The impressive engineering of the steel EBE 65 doors from Secco ensure that these doors also prevent any draughts in the beach house with a full catalogue of testing results for air, water and wind resistance.
The Beach House extension was built up to an existing low running wall which made it hard for natural light to reach the home. Using Secco’s EBE 65 doors as the choice of doors, with a large full-width frameless window between, for this home has allowed the maximum amount of light into the home.
Choosing stainless steel for these doors has also helped to match the framing of the glass façade as well as the metal cladding surrounding this area of the home. EBE 65 stainless steel doors have a great security rating, helping to keep the home secure at all times.
