Room Partition with Internal Steel Sliders
Internal steel sliders have been installed in the basement of this home in Fulham, London. The internal sliders have been used as a way of making a partition in the room, creating a separation between the living area and music room.
By having this separation, the music room is kept private allowing a reduction in noise for the rest of the house as the internal sliding doors will help to blur any sounds coming from the music room.
These steel sliding doors are biparting doors, allowing perfect views of the music room, ideal for if the home owners were to have a musical performance. There are no obstruction to views that could have occurred if these doors opened to one side.
These internal sliding doors have a contemporary art deco design due to the horizontal and vertical steel transom bars that have been integrated. These doors have been made from galvanised steel and have been powder coated black to match the other doors in the home. Choosing this colour for the powder coating has also created a contrast between the black doors and white room, enhancing the contemporary aesthetic.
For a similar style, Jansen also provide Art 15 Internal Screens.
